Senior Quantity SurveyorCumbria Permanent £52,000 - £70,000 + packageYour new company You will be joining a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major, long-term programme of work at the Sellafield site in Cumbria.This is an excellent opportunity to join an established commercial team working in a complex, highly regulated project environment, offering exposure to high-value subcontract packages and NEC contracts. The business is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis, ideally based within the Cumbria region, although candidates from further afield will also be considered. Your new role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial expertise across the delivery of contracted works, taking responsibility for the day-to-day commercial management of your area.You will provide commercial oversight, administer NEC contracts and ensure accurate and timely commercial reporting while working closely with the wider project delivery and cost control teams. Key responsibilities will include: Managing high-value and complex subcontract packages under NEC terms and conditions Managing subcontract accounts including procurement, payments, variations and final accounts Assessing subcontract variations and supporting effective change management Preparing cost and value reports and maintaining key commercial reporting Ensuring contractual communications are managed accurately and within required timescales Supporting main contract ..... full job details .....
