Senior Quantity Surveyor

An established and growing construction business is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused QS with strong main-contractor experience who is comfortable taking ownership of the commercial performance of projects from procurement through to completion and final account. The successful candidate will work closely with operational, design and commercial teams, providing strong financial and contractual control throughout the project lifecycle. The Role Responsibilities will include: Managing the commercial and procurement aspects of subcontract packages. Preparing and reviewing monthly valuations, cost reports and commercial forecasts. Monitoring project performance and preparing regular CVR and management information. Managing variations, change control and contractual entitlement. Reviewing subcontractor applications, payments and final accounts. Working closely with Contracts Managers, Site Teams and Design Teams to maintain commercial control. Identifying and managing commercial risks, opportunities and potential cost exposure. Supporting effective procurement and subcontract negotiations. Providing clear commercial updates and recommendations to senior management. Ensuring projects remain commercially controlled from pre-construction/procurement through to completion.
