Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor | Main Contractor |-

SQS Required with Main Contractor for Education & Residential Projects.

CSR is recruiting on behalf a Main Contractor who are operating throughout Ireland.

They are seeking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Senior QS to manage 2 projects circa -35M & -20M in value.

You will have a full-time Project QS based in each project and provide guidance/ and mentorship to junior staff members.

The successful QS will have:

• Strong prior experience in Quantity Surveying roles in a Construction/Engineering business
• Degree level education within Quantity Surveying
• Minimum of 2-3 years'' experience working as a Senior QS on commercial/ residential projects.
• Ability to demonstrate building strong working relationships & stakeholder management
• Good level of legal awareness and competence in assessing Contract Documents and contract requirements
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good oral & written communication skills
