Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineering / Commercial Projects Location: BuxtonRate: £450 £500 per dayIR35: Outside IR35Contract: Initial contract with potential for ongoing workReady to take your commercial expertise into complex engineering and process projects?This is an opportunity to take ownership of the commercial side of major engineering projects, working closely with the Project Manager and Planner across delivery, change and commercial close-out.You ll work across a varied project portfolio within food, beverage, manufacturing and industrial environmentsThe role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you ll take responsibility for the commercial management of engineering and industrial projects, with a particular focus on NEC4, change management and project controls.You ll be responsible for: Managing NEC4 contracts and ensuring contractual processes are followedManaging change control, variations and Compensation EventsCost control, forecasting and CVR reportingManaging extensions of time and delay mechanismsManaging subcontractor and supplier agreementsReviewing project scope and ensuring changes are recorded and valued correctlyMaintaining robust commercial records throughout the projectWorking closely with the Planner to understand programme impact and associated commercial implicationsIdentifying commercial risks and areas where the business could be exposedSupporting projects through to commercial close-out and final account About you You ll have a strong Quantity ..... full job details .....
