Senior Quantity Surveyor WaterLocation: Lincoln / LincolnshireRate: £550 £580 per day (Inside IR35)Contract: Freelance Initial 6 MonthsWorking Pattern: Circa 3 days site/office, 2 days homeStart: ASAPAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major UK infrastructure contractor delivering capital maintenance works across the water sector.The role will initially be a 6-month contract and will see you joining a close-knit commercial team responsible for delivering a portfolio of capital maintenance schemes across Lincolnshire.With a number of projects currently working towards key completion dates, we are looking for an experienced commercial professional who can quickly integrate into the team, take ownership of existing schemes and drive them through commercial close-out.Projects typically range from circa £500k up to £2m in value.Key Responsibilities Commercial management of multiple capital maintenance schemesTaking ownership of projects through to completion and final accountManaging subcontractor accounts and commercial administrationAssessment and management of variations and changeCost reporting, forecasting and commercial controlsEnsuring commercial processes are completed accurately and efficientlySupporting the delivery teams against key programme and completion datesProviding commercial guidance and support to the wider teamSupporting and managing junior members of the commercial team where requiredWorking closely with ..... full job details .....
