Quantity Surveyor - Freelance

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor, with a background working on care home construction projects? Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a specialist design and build contractor, who are currently on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a freelance basis out of their head office in Lincolnshire. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of our care home projects through to completion. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage budgets, contracts, and cost control while ensuring the successful financial outcome of projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site visits and gather all necessary data to assist with the preparation of detailed quotations and proposals. Manage cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for assigned projects. Prepare accurate valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts. Oversee contract administration, including NEC, JCT, and bespoke contracts. Manage and agree applications for payment and variations with clients and subcontractors.
