Senior Quantity Surveyor

Fawkes and Reece South are working with a main contractor that is working collaboratively with a private client on various infrastructure projects as part of a large framework in the South. They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a project worth over 80m. The project is based on a NEC contract and has a scope of works that includes earthworks, drainage installation and pilling etc.As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to a Commercial Manager as part of a larger framework team that works from home and occasionally visits sites. You will be responsible for the commercial administration on this scheme (but not limited to):Accurate monthly forecasting and agreeing on variationsProducing and sending subcontractors enquiriesProducing monthly reports and cost value reconciliationsManaging change and producing compensation eventsPreparing and submitting final accounts Requirements including certificates and qualifications:Degree-qualified in a Quantity Surveying subject or equivalentExperience working on any civil engineering or infrastructure related projectsCandidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UKThe successful candidate will be rewarded with a generous package plus opportunities for further career development.
