I am currently seeking a highly commercial and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a leading role on a flagship, high-value Data Centre project in West London.West London is one of the world''s most critical data hubs. By joining our team, you will be at the forefront of mission-critical construction, working with top main contractor to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that will power the next generation of digital infrastructure. The RoleAs a Senior QS, you will be the commercial lead for key packages on this fast-paced, complex project. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Project Director, your responsibilities will include:Taking full commercial ownership of major procurement packagesManaging the end-to-end commercial life-cycle, from procurement and sub-contractor management to final accounts.Detailed cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Identifying and mitigating commercial risks, whilst maximising project margins.Administering standard forms of contract (JCT / NEC) and expertly managing variations and early warning notices.Mentoring and guiding junior members of the commercial team.Building strong, collaborative relationships with the client, design teams, and supply chain partners.
