Contract Scotland is recruiting an experienced and motivated Managing Quantity Surveyor for a major long-term civil engineering project in North East Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading commercial role on a high-profile infrastructure scheme that will have a significant impact across the UK.Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a commercial team across multiple workstreams. Oversee cost/value reporting, cashflow management, and forecasting. Manage procurement, subcontractor accounts, and change control. Provide commercial input during pre-construction and tender phases. Work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to deliver commercial objectives. What We re Looking For: Strong leadership experience managing commercial teams. Background in civil engineering projects. Excellent understanding of NEC contracts. Relevant qualification (Degree, HNC, or HND in a commercial or construction discipline).
