Senior Quantity Surveyor

An independent Oxford construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing cost management team. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will work across a varied portfolio of science, education, commercial and residential projects throughout Oxford and the wider region.The Senior Quantity Surveyor''s RoleThe Senior Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of commissions from early feasibility and cost planning through procurement, construction and final account.Working directly with clients, consultants and contractors, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will provide clear commercial advice, manage project costs and help shape procurement strategy. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also support junior colleagues while building strong relationships with clients across Oxford''s property and development market.This position would suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor who wants greater autonomy within a smaller, hands-on consultancy environment, while retaining access to technically interesting and varied projects.The Senior Quantity SurveyorDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related construction disciplineStrong UK PQS / construction consultancy experienceMRICS qualified or actively working towards chartershipProven pre- and post-contract cost management experienceConfident preparing cost plans, tender documentation and procurement adviceExperience managing valuations, variations and final accountsGood knowledge of JCT ..... full job details .....
