Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Oversee the commercial performance of construction projects, ensuring value for money, quality compliance, and profitability across all stages.Core Responsibilities
Prepare valuations, cost value reports, and final accounts (Client and Subcontractors).Monitor project cash flow and applications for payments.Handle subcontract tendering, procurement, and contract documentation.Manage and negotiate subcontractor agreements, ensuring appropriate costing.Lead monthly commercial and progress review meetings.Submit and track variations and contra-charges.Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to align on costs and specifications.Maintain accurate records: valuation registers, payment certifications, procurement documentation.Assist in tender preparation and contract document compilation.Required Qualifications and Experience
Essential:3rd-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or equivalent.8–10 years'' experience in Quantity Surveying on Commercial, Residential and Retail projects (up to £10m in value).Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contract forms.Desirable:
Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB).Key Skills and Attributes
