Senior Quantity Surveyor Bury St Edmunds £65,000 - £70,000 + PackageThe Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established and growing construction business based in Bury St Edmunds.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven Quantity Surveyor who is looking for genuine ownership of their projects, rather than simply being responsible for one element of the commercial function.As a Project Surveyor, you will typically manage around three projects at any one time, taking full commercial responsibility from start through to completion. You will be responsible for the commercial performance of your projects, including CVRs, forecasting, cost control, valuations, variations and final accounts.Projects will generally range from £1m to £6m and will be delivered under JCT Traditional and Design and Build contracts.Projects and Sectors The business works across a diverse range of sectors, including: CommercialHealthcareEducation / SchoolsResidential High End and Social HousingHeritageRefurbishmentNew Build Experience across multiple sectors would be advantageous, although sector experience is not essential.
