A major infrastructure project in East London is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a freelance basis.

You''ll be working on a significant depot project, taking responsibility for the commercial management of key packages and working alongside the Project and Commercial teams.

Responsibilities:

• Commercial management of allocated packages
• Subcontract management and procurement
• Applications, valuations and payment processes
• Change management, variations and commercial reporting
• Cost forecasting and CVRs
• Final accounts
• Contractual correspondence and notices
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
• Working closely with delivery teams to maximise project performance

We''re looking for:

• Experienced Senior QS with a strong infrastructure / civils background
• Strong NEC experience
• Previous experience managing substantial packages
• Confident with forecasting, change and subcontract management
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding
• Someone who can hit the ground running on a major project

Rate: -500 - -600 per day
Outside IR35
