Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major long-term infrastructure programme in Kent. This is an opportunity for an experienced commercial professional to take a senior role within a technically complex project environment, working closely with the Project and Commercial Management teams. The RoleYou will take responsibility for the commercial management of significant work packages and provide commercial leadership across the project. Key responsibilities will include: Leading commercial management across allocated packagesManaging applications, valuations and payment processesPreparing and managing CVRs and monthly financial reportsManaging cost-to-complete and forecastingLeading change control and variation managementIdentifying and managing commercial riskManaging the full subcontract lifecycleProcurement and negotiation of subcontract packagesProviding commercial advice to the Project Manager and wider delivery teamSupporting contract administrationManaging commercial issues, disputes and negotiationsMentoring and developing junior commercial staffSupporting project-level commercial strategyEnsuring compliance with company commercial proceduresAbout YouThe successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will ideally have: Strong experience within civil engineering, infrastructure or major construction projectsSignificant main contractor or specialist contractor experienceStrong subcontract ..... full job details .....
