Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Suffolk
Salary: Up to -549 per day (Inside IR35)

We''re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team, working on building and civil engineering projects.

You''ll be responsible for managing project costs, overseeing subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered commercially. You''ll also support and mentor junior members of the team.

• Manage project costs from tender through to final account.
• Oversee subcontractor payments, variations and compensation events.
• Review tenders, rates and procurement packages.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial claims.
• Monitor project progress, costs and commercial risks.
• Produce cost reports, forecasts and financial reconciliations.
• Work closely with project teams to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support and mentor junior commercial staff.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
• RICS, ICES or CIOB qualified, or working towards membership.
• Experience in building and/or civil engineering projects.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members.
