Senior Quality Manager

As a Senior Quality Manager, you will work closely with the senior management team, contributing to strategic decisions while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
 
Your responsibilities as a Senior Quality Manager:
 

• Develop, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of quality professionals.
• Oversee inspection processes, including PPAP, FAIR, and ISIR, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
• Monitor quality trends and drive corrective and preventive actions using root cause analysis.
• Manage internal and external audits, acting as the key point of contact for certification bodies and customers.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement to optimise processes and reduce defects.

 
Your current experience which will help you as a Senior Quality Manager:
 

• Proven experience in a senior quality management role within precision engineering or CNC machining.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and automotive quality standards.
• Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA, and statistical quality tools.
• Experience managing CMMs, inspection equipment, and supplier quality approval.
• Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
