Description

As the Senior Quality Engineer you will be tasked with the following;

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for product or process issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities to to reduce customer complaints, drive product quality, and develop production process.
  • Develop and maintain the companies ISO accreditation''s, managing their ISO9001 accreditation''s.
  • Liaising will all levels of the production process and with external customers to ensure development actions are in place and maintained.
  • Use methodologies such as 8D, 5Y, Ishikawa, Kaizen, Root cause analysis to solve complex problems and develop action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and internal quality requirements.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to maintain quality standards.
  • Be an ongoing presence on the shop floor working closely with production to run investigations.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Support new product development by defining quality standards and specifications.
  • Manage supplier quality performance and work on resolving quality-related concerns.

Profile

A successful Senior Quality Engineer should have:

  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.
  • Lead Auditor accreditation for ISO 9001
  • HNC/HND in a relevant field.
  • Green Belt Six Sigma or equivalent.
  • Experience in quality assurance within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and ensuring compliance.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
