Senior Quality Inspector

Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking Senior Quality Inspectors to join their team in Barrow on a 12-month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-stakes projects within the submarine solutions division and ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specificationsAnalyse and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsDocument and report any discrepancies or issues found during inspectionsCollaborate with the engineering team to resolve quality-related issuesParticipate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain accurate records of inspections and findingsProvide input on the development and improvement of quality inspection proceduresAdhere to all safety and regulatory requirementsJob Requirements:Experience in Quality Engineering, preferably within the Defence and Security sectorStrong understanding of quality standards and inspection techniquesProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specificationsExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work effectively under shift patterns, including night shiftsCommitment to maintaining high-quality standards and continuous improvementBenefits:Opportunity to work on significant defence projectsProfessional development and training ..... full job details .....
