Quality Inspector AS9100

OUTSIDE IR35 An innovative engineering organisation working at the forefront of defence and autonomous systems is seeking an experienced Contract Quality Inspector to support the manufacture and integration of advanced UAV platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge unmanned aerial vehicle technology within a fast-paced, highly regulated defence environment. The Role You will be responsible for ensuring products and assemblies meet the required quality standards throughout manufacturing and integration activities. Key Responsibilities Conduct inspection activities across UAV assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections Verify conformity against engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation Support non-conformance investigations and corrective actions Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and customer quality requirements Maintain accurate inspection and quality records Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues Assist with supplier quality activities where required Experience Required Previous experience in a Quality Inspector position within defence, aerospace, aviation, or advanced engineering Experience inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies and complex systems Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Strong familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality standards Experience using standard ..... full job details .....
