Senior Purchase Ledger Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Location: Great Yarmouth Job Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) Reed Recruitment is delighted to partner with a company in the energy sector to recruit a Senior Purchase Ledger for their Great Yarmouth office. This is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The role is suited for professionals with experience in Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable roles, who are ready to step into a key position within a dynamic business environment. Day-to-day of the role: Oversee and maintain the setup of supplier accounts. Input purchase ledger invoices and match them to purchase orders. Resolve invoice queries and liaise with suppliers. Conduct supplier statement reconciliations and reconcile purchase ledger buying groups. Allocate supplier payments and reconcile company credit cards. Manage PayPal/Proforma accounts and handle supplier returns and credit note reporting. Prepare monthly payment runs, settlement runs, and weekly foreign payment runs. Process payments for staff expenses and perform monthly petty cash reconciliation. Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve ad hoc queries regarding accounting procedures. Provide general administrative and office support, including additional duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
