Senior Public Health Practitioner for Mental Wellbeing and Suicide Prevention

Joining our well-established and dynamic team as a passionate and skilled Senior Public Health Practitioner for Mental Wellbeing and Suicide Prevention, you''ll be supported to develop your career in Public Health. We lead ambitious, evidence-based programmes that support adult mental wellbeing, prevent suicide, and reduce inequalities in health outcomes across the county. Working collaboratively with partners from the NHS, voluntary and community sector, local authorities, and people with lived experience, we deliver meaningful, measurable change for Hampshire residents. In this high-impact role, you''ll lead key programmes within our adult mental wellbeing and suicide prevention portfolio and have the opportunity to shape strategy, drive innovation, build strong partnerships and deliver programmes that make a real difference to people''s lives. What you''ll do: You will lead and coordinate key programmes within the adult mental wellbeing and suicide prevention portfolio, including: Leading delivery of the Hampshire Mental Wellbeing Strategy and the Hampshire Suicide Prevention Plan, working across sectors to coordinate impactful multiagency programmes. Overseeing and developing initiatives supporting adult mental wellbeing, including programmes focused on money and mental health, creativity, nature, green and blue spaces.
