Senior Project Manager (Transmission 400kv)

Our client, a leading engineering consultancy within the power and utilities sector, is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join their growing team. This permanent opportunity offers the chance to lead the successful delivery of major transmission infrastructure projects, including 400kV substation developments, supporting the UK''s transition to a sustainable energy future.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale 400kV substation projects, ensuring that scope, programme, budget, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.Manage multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating engineering, design, commercial, planning and stakeholder activities throughout the project lifecycle.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing regular project updates, risk reporting and performance reviews.Develop and manage detailed project programmes, resource plans, budgets and forecasts, ensuring effective project controls are implemented and maintained.Identify, manage and mitigate project risks and opportunities, driving proactive solutions to technical, commercial and programme challenges.Ensure compliance with industry regulations, CDM requirements, client standards and quality management processes, whilst promoting a strong health, safety and environmental culture.Support business development activities, contributing to bids, proposals and strategic client engagement initiatives as ..... full job details .....
