London A leading Civil Engineering contractor are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to work on a £120m Civil Rail project based in London. Reporting into the Project Direct / MD for the Rail Business you will be responsible for a team of Project Managers, Agents whilst liaising closely with the commercial function.Candidate RequirementsDegree Qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalentChartered Civil Engineer (preferred)At least 10 years main contractor experience with exposure to Rail projectsUnderstanding of Network Rail and TFL/ LU procedures is highly beneficialRoles and Responsibilities:To represent the company in the delivery of projects and ensure constant point of contact with clients from project award to completionBuild and maintain successful teams to deliver projectsMaintain personal development and monitor targets of subordinatesProvide operational support to specific tender as directed by the Tender Manager.Act as Bid Manager reporting to Tender Manager where appropriate during tendersMonitor project performance in respect of quality and programme to ensure client requirements are met and corporate targets are realisedEstablish and monitor health and safety, and environmental protection responsibilities on site to ensure compliance with legislation, corporate procedures and objectivesBe familiar with and observe all relevant statutory provisions applicable to construction and Rail related industries.Strong and demonstrable project management skillsShould you be interested in this role please send a copy of your CV and we will get back to you as soon as possible.We recognize the benefit of diversity and welcomes applications regardless of age, disability, marital status, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, employment status or any other protected characteristic.We are unable to put forward anyone who does not have the legal right to live and work in the UK.Apply For This Job
