involves installing a new low-emission gas turbine-driven compressor train at a critical Above Ground Installation (AGI) site.Phase 1:
Design (2 years) – Hybrid workingPhase 2:
Construction and Commissioning (2 years) – Site-basedThis project is aligned with the Medium Combustion Plant Directive (MCPD) and plays a vital role in future-proofing UK energy supply.What you’ll do:Lead full project lifecycle from design through to commissioning and handoverManage design partner deliverables and ensure compliance with technical standardsOversee governance documentation, risk registers, programme schedules, and commercial reportingEngage with stakeholders across engineering, client, and regulatory teamsSelect and manage subcontractors across civil, mechanical, electrical, and ECandI scopesMonitor financials, cost control, and change managementDrive safety, quality, and environmental excellence across all phasesWhat we’re looking for:Extensive experience delivering major projects in gas transmission or AGI sector (compressor stations ideal)Strong understanding of AGI systems, gas turbines, process safety, and CDM 2015 regulationsProven commercial and contract management experience on DandB projectsExcellent stakeholder and technical reporting skillsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel when requiredWhat’s on offer:Competitive salary + benefits (car allowance, bonus, pension)Hybrid working during design phaseStrategic leadership role on a high-profile emissions reduction projectProgression opportunities within a leading infrastructure delivery environmentReady to lead one of the UK’s most critical energy projects?
