Senior Project ManagerAlexander Associates are working with a groundbreaking and rapidly expanding launch provider who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.As a Project Manager, you’ll work closely with engineering, business, legal, and finance teams to keep projects on track—delivering on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities and TasksCreation and management of new and existing work packages and projectsManaging stakeholders and ensuring technical delivery of Engineering ProjectsOversight of delivery of verification evidence for the launch vehicle and its systemsContribute to upcoming Grants and Future ProjectsEssential Experience and Skills10 + years’ experience in a Project Management roleProfessional PM qualification such as Prince2 (Foundation or Practitioner)Have track record of delivering projects to agreed times and budgetsExperience of running fast paced operations, managing and motivating teams to succeedExperience of maintaining relationships and liaison with team members and key stakeholders, both internal and externalProject Management experience in planning, controlling budgets and driving to schedules, within a technical environmentEngineering and technical competence, sufficient to enable decision makingUnderstanding of non-core project management roles such as purchasing, and engineering management etc.Experience in creation of project business cases and pitching to stakeholdersExperience with the ECSS systems engineering process or equivalentSTEM qualification or relevant professional experienceExperience with systems engineering for Vehicle Systems in Aerospace or DefenceAdditional RequirementsValid passport, including right to work in the UKFull driving licenseSuccessfully clear all applicable internal and National Security Vetting requirementsThis is a great opportunity to be part of a bold, fast-moving team in a cutting-edge industry.
