We''re seeking a French speaking Senior Project Manager to spearhead our exciting development ventures across these iconic French territories.To excel in this role, you must be fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written), be an experienced project manager and ideally possess a minimum of five years'' experience renovating luxury homes. We need a dedicated professional who is passionate about delivering projects to exacting standards and can maintain high performance in an exciting, fast-paced setting.The role will be based in our London office with regular trips to the French markets to run the projects.About usAugust is a full-service, real-estate development company, based in London, United Kingdom, and specialising in luxury holiday home collections across Europe. The company was founded in 2018 and has since grown to be the premier lifestyle holiday home platform.As part of the Design and Development team, the primary remit for this role will be the project management of a number of renovation and design projects.
You will be responsible for delivering beautiful homes for our customers.Responsibilities include:Be responsible for the delivery of fully operational luxury homes from start to completion, on programme, within budget and to a high standard.Work closely with the acquisition and design teams to review potential homes, evaluate permit risks / requirements, create the initial schedule of work and define the renovation budget necessary for each new home prior to acquisition.Work closely with the design team to create full tender packages, manage the tender process, undertake the tender analysis and give recommendations on the contractor to progress with.Take forward the project to the start of the renovation works, ensuring the contract, insurances and correct permits are in place, and all risks have been mitigated.Manage the contractor and sub-contractors throughout the works, ensuring the design is implemented to a high standard within programme and on budget, with no issues being taken forward to the operation team and homeowners.Define and manage project plans for August and stakeholders to deliver on the pipeline of real estate projectsManage external stakeholders including developers, general contractors and designers to advocate for August’s interests at all phases of the development process from due diligence to closeout.Manage independently the project and project budgets, working in an integrated fashion to deliver on time and on budget resultsAssist in creating, deploying and leveraging August’s Standards and SpecificationsManage subcontractors and service providers to ensure contractual compliance.Collaborate on generating project schedules and consistently follow up on the adherence. Manage updates and develop solutions to issues while effectively communicating consequences.Own timelines and budgets to launch projects faster and reduce cash burnTirelessly problem solve issues while consistently working to improve processes to minimize and prevent exceptions in order to scale rapidlyAbout You – we’d love to hear from you if you have:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in construction or a related field preferred.Passion and experience for luxury home renovations.Experience in all phases of development from design/planning to construction project management/administrationExperience in producing tender package from design/planning to construction project management/administrationStrong understanding of renovation costs and planning of residential projectsPassionate about all phases of real estate development, project cost estimating, construction and project management with a focus on critical details.Significant experience negotiating with and managing external vendors and contractors on time, cost, and qualityThe ability to independently plan and complete projects with minimal supervision5+ years of experience in residential development, ideally across EuropePassionate about design, brand image, furniture and interior stylingSpeaking English and French is mandatory - bonus if one or more of the following languages: Spanish and Italian.RICS, PMMA, PG DIP, or PRINCE 2 equivalent qualification in project management.The successful candidate will be a well-organized individual with excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.Be able to work from our London office and regularly travel throughout the French markets.Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit - an “all-hands on deck” spirit!Process driven - an ability to deliver immediate results, whilst looking to develop systems for future growthExcellent communication, presentation and relationship management skillsStrong organisational skills and a professional mannerAbility to work on their own as well as part of a teamA flexible, can-do attitudeHours and packageSalary - CompetitiveIncentive package - Includes bonusLocation - London with regular travel to FranceFrequent travel across Europe to manage installationsJob start - ASAPWe offer:We believe talent is the key to success and our team and culture means everything to us.
