Role: Senior Project Manager
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary: -55-65k (Depending on Experience)
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of complex, high-value or multiple concurrent projects/programmes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximising commercial performance.
This role holds full accountability for project P&L, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and overall delivery performance. The Senior Project Manager operates at both strategic and operational levels, acting as a key interface between the client, senior leadership, and delivery teams.
In addition to project execution, the Senior Project Manager contributes to business growth, supports bid and tender activities, drives continuous improvement, and provides leadership and mentoring to project management staff.
The role is client-facing and requires the ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships, resolve complex issues, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
Essential
- Formal Project Management qualification (e.g., APM, PMI or equivalent)
- Degree or HND in Mechanical/Production Engineering, Construction, or related discipline
- Significant experience managing complex, high-value or multiple concurrent projects/programmes
- Proven experience with NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 or similar)
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated P&L responsibility
- Experience leading project teams and managing people
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver executive-level reporting
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience in risk, change, and stakeholder management
