Senior Procurement Officer - IT Buyer

Location: Stevenage SG1
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
Pay: £550 per day paid weekly via umbrella
Duration: Ongoing Contract – Long Term
  
Duties
Support and lead sourcing/negotiation/procurement of IT hardware, software & services
-  Contract negotiation - negotiate contract terms, pricing and SLAs to optimise costs and mitigate risks
-  Ensure procurement activities comply with our processes, policies and controls
-  Work closely with collegues across the organisation to deliver an excellent IT Procurement service
-  Cross-department collaboration, working with IT, finance, legal, commercial and project teams
-   Supporting building out category plans, processes and controls for IT Procurement
-  This is a busy team with a number of vacancies due to growing demand for IT procurement, so we are looking for a candidate that is flexible and able to deliver from small administrative activities up to very large sourcing projects
