As a Category and Sourcing Manager, you will:Take ownership of strategic sourcing and category management across a key spend portfolioDevelop multi-year strategies based on market trends, supplier data, and commercial insightsLead complex sourcing initiatives that materially impact the cost-income ratioBuild and maintain senior relationships with both internal stakeholders and strategic suppliersAct as deputy to senior leadership and serve as a subject matter expert on procurement best practicesEnable supplier-led innovation and continuously improve supplier performanceEnsure full compliance with regulatory requirements and third-party risk management policiesThis role sits at the core of the commercial operating model and will offer a platform to shape sourcing strategies at an enterprise level.What You''ll Bring
Experience in strategic procurement or category managementProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and high-value sourcing eventsStrong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skillsExperience advising and influencing at senior levels, including ExecExceptional analytical ability - translating data into strategyA track record of delivering tangible cost and business benefitsUnderstanding of SRM principles, third-party risk, and end-to-end sourcing lifecycleIdeally, CIPS qualified and with financial services experience (desirable, not essential)Why This Role?
