Senior Procurement Manager - 12 Month FTC

Our client, a leading Professional Services firm, is seeking a skilled Group Procurement Manager to join their team in either Bristol, London, Liverpool, Leeds or Manchester on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to make a significant impact within a dynamic and growing organisation.Position Overview
As the Group Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing procurement activities and contract management solutions for allocated categories. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the group, acting as a trusted business partner and providing expert procurement advice. This position offers the opportunity to lead high-value and complex projects, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for procurement queries and provide expert procurement adviceCollaborate with key stakeholders across the group as a trusted business partnerEnsure company-wide procurement requirements and contract management solutions for allocated categories are managed effectivelyLead high-value and complex procurement projectsDeputise for the Head of Procurement and Senior Group Procurement Managers as necessaryManage the Procurement Pipeline and Tracker to ensure projects are completed successfullyConduct commercial and contract negotiations to achieve favourable outcomesOwn the cradle-to-grave procurement process, including ITT/RFPs, RFIs, and RFQsDevelop relationships with existing suppliers to reduce costs, enhance service, and deliver innovation and sustainabilityEnsure all procurement activities align with internal Procurement Policy and ProceduresCollaborate with Legal, Data Protection, and Information Security teams to mitigate third-party risksEnsure all contracts meet group policy, regulatory, and industry standardsRequirements
Experience in end-to-end strategic procurement across various indirect procurement categoriesAbility to operate in a fast-paced environment, ideally with a Financial Services backgroundStrong influencing and stakeholder management skillsExperience in drafting and interpreting contracts and clausesExcellent commercial negotiation and supplier relationship management skillsSound understanding of procurement category managementProficiency in creating and managing complex tender and benchmarking exercisesStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applicationsCommercial awareness and acute business acumenAbility to analyse data and prioritise workload to meet deadlinesSelf-motivated with high energy to drive resultsDynamic, flexible, and professional approach to workDegree level education desirableMCIPS qualification or working towards it is advantageousAlongside this attractive benefits package, you''ll be part of a values-driven team that embraces and fosters a supportive and inclusive environment.
