Senior / Principal Drainage and Infrastructure Engineer Location: Peterborough Salary: 40,000 - 65,000PA DOE Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role Position 1 Recruitment are working with a successful engineering consultancy, who are looking for an experienced Senior / Principal Drainage and Infrastructure Engineer to join the team. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor project teams delivering drainage and infrastructure schemes from concept through to detailed design. Prepare and review drainage strategies, flood risk assessments, highway designs, levels designs, calculations, drawings and specifications. Manage projects and ensure schemes are delivered to agreed timescales and quality standards. Agree design principles and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare fee proposals and assist with project costings. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians. Undertake occasional site inspections and provide technical support where required. Liaise with clients, contractors, local authorities and external consultants to coordinate projects effectively. Ensure project information is accurate and delivered within agreed deadlines. About You A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of 8 years'' experience in drainage and infrastructure design. Strong experience in drainage strategies, drainage design and infrastructure schemes. Knowledge of S38, S278, S104, S106 and S185 agreements. ..... full job details .....
