Overview

Senior Platform Engineer (Developer Experience) at Complexio. Complexio’s Foundational AI platform automates business processes by ingesting and understanding complete enterprise data—both structured and unstructured. Through proprietary models, knowledge graphs, and orchestration layers, Complexio maps human–computer interactions and autonomously executes complex workflows at scale. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer (Developer Experience) to establish and standardise engineering practices, improve developer workflows, and set standards for CI/CD and collaboration. This role combines hands-on DevOps expertise with a strong emphasis on clarity, documentation, and process design. The goal is to make our engineering organisation more efficient, consistent, and scalable; this person will work closely with engineering leads, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our ways of working are well-documented, clear, and actionable.Responsibilities

Design, document and maintain end-to-end software development processes, including coding standards, branching strategies, testing, release management, and deploymentCollaborate with engineering managers, team leads, and product teams to gather insights and best practices, and ensure smooth adoption of tooling and practicesTranslate complex technical workflows into clear, concise, and accessible documentation and visual aids (flowcharts, process maps, checklists, templates) to support understandingEvaluate and introduce tools for developer experience improvement (e.g., feature flagging, local dev environments, code quality tools)Maintain a central repository (e.g., Confluence, Notion, or Git-based documentation), ensuring documentation is kept up-to-date and version-controlledQualifications

Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Developer Productivity rolesStrong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.) and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Excellent communication skills with the ability to document technical standards for diverse audiencesVisual documentation skills (e.g., Lucidchart, Miro, Draw.io) are a plusStrong understanding of developer workflows and pain pointsCollaborative mindset and ability to work across teamsSuccess Criteria
