Senior Payroll Technician - team leadership and hands-on work with clients - Daventry - to £40,000

We are delighted to be partnering again with our established, local client on the recruitment of a Senior Payroll Technician. You will be joining a supportive and friendly team, with the possibility of career growth to a management position over time. 

As the Senior Payroll Technician your key responsibilities will include: 

• Maintaining all payroll software to ensure legislative compliance.
• Developing, maintaining, optimising and deploying suitable payroll processes and controls.
• Ensuring all staff involved in payroll complete suitable technical training to maintain and progress technical expertise.
• Delivering client payroll with accuracy.
• Delivering client payrolls on time.
• Awareness of GDPR requirements.
• Delegation of payroll tasks to other team members where appropriate.
• Oversight and approval of payrolls prepared by other staff members.

• Broad payroll software knowledge
• Extensive experience processing P11D, PSA and taxable benefits
• all round Auto Enrolment knowledge
