You''ll be the critical bridge between design engineering and manufacturing operations, working on novel automotive robot systems breaking boundaries in the safety arena. You''ll work alongside one of the most experienced mechanical engineers on the market who will be an invaluable mentor.What You''ll Be DoingYou''ll coordinate the successful introduction of new and modified products into manufacture. This encompasses design for manufacturing analysis, tolerance studies, prototype development and feedback to design. You''ll work directly on the shop floor supporting manufacturing and assembly teams, understanding production constraints and facilitating solutions. You''ll manage comprehensive documentation, DFMEAs, PFMEAs and service bulletins with absolute traceability and configuration control. Customer quality issues and field engineering feedback are your responsibility. You''ll oversee the pilot production phase before full market release.What We''re Looking ForYou''ll have genuine engineering background with proven experience in new product introduction, manufacturing engineering or design engineering with substantial manufacturing exposure.
