Are you a Senior Medical Writer with a passion for scientific communication and engagement? Do you have a broad range of experience in developing high-quality scientific content? Owing to new business wins and growth across key accounts, we are seeking a talented Senior Medical Writer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional scientific communications across a range of channels. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling scientific content that resonates with audiences and drives results.Key responsibilities:Develop high-quality scientific content for a range of external engagements (workshops and advisory boards), congress (booth and symposia), scientific slides decks and scientific communicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all scientific communications meet client objectives and brand standardsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the medical writing teamStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform scientific communications decisionsContributing to the full range of medical education/communication programmesEnsuring delivery of high-quality scientific content, reviewing work by junior colleaguesLeading scientific discussions with clients and external experts, face to face and on callsContributing to scientific strategy to inform tactical planning of accounts, both internally and with clientsHelping to identify organic growth opportunities on accountsContributing to the scientific development of proposals and pitchesLine management, mentoring, coaching, and trainingWhat you''ll need:Solid experience already gained in a Medical Writer capacityIt would be great to see details of your therapy area experience, project types and the audiences for which you have written (e.g. specialists, GPs, nurses, pharmacists and patients) on your CVStrong communication skills, high emotional intelligence, the ability to adapt your approach according to the needs of clients and teams, and the ability to respond rapidly to situations and manage internal/external issuesFamiliarity with organic growth and contributing to proposals and pitchesAbility to deliver events and large educational programmes, and experience of digital projectsDeep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the healthcare industryHow We’ll Support YouOgilvy celebrates its people.
