Senior Mechnanical Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major fit-out project in Central London. This contract opportunity is suited to a proven mechanical engineering professional with a strong background in project management, commercial fit-out and data centre environments.

• Lead and manage all mechanical aspects of the project lifecycle from inception through to completion
• Take overall responsibility for project delivery, programme, quality, health and safety, and client satisfaction
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
• Manage project budgets, forecasting and commercial performance
• Drive progress while ensuring mechanical works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards
• Lead project meetings and provide clear updates on programme, commercial and operational performance
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and project procedures

• Significant experience as a Senior Mechanical Project Manager or in an equivalent mechanical project management role
• Proven ability to manage and deliver large-scale projects from start to finish
• Experience delivering commercial fit-out and/or data centre projects
• Strong mechanical engineering and building services knowledge
• Sound commercial awareness and understanding of project financial management
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver effectively under programme pressures
• Relevant Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualifications are preferred

• Initial 12-month contract
