Senior Project Engineer MechanicalLocation: South Region Sector: Building Services / MEP Employment Type: Full-time Reporting to: Project Leader / Project DirectorThe OpportunityWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and building services contractor for an experienced Senior Project Engineer Mechanical to join their operations team.This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased project engineer with strong building services experience to take technical ownership of mechanical works across complex construction projects. You will provide engineering leadership throughout the full project lifecycle, from design development and procurement through to installation, testing, commissioning and handover.Working closely with Project Managers, construction teams, design consultants, specialist subcontractors and internal technical teams, you will ensure that mechanical works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the project specification, statutory requirements and current Building Safety legislation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate mechanical design information, resolving technical queries and ensuring compliance with project specifications.Manage mechanical procurement packages, including supplier selection, technical evaluations, submittals and long-lead item planning.Review and approve mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, technical submissions and method statements.Plan, coordinate and track mechanical ..... full job details .....
