Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Role: Electro-mechanical Systems Location: Cambridge Salary: £55k-£65k (dependant on experience) About The Role: Platform Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturer that designs and develops complex hardware for precision electro-mechanical systems and advanced manufacturing applications, from early-stage RandD through to full production. You ll be joining a talented, multidisciplinary team working at the cutting edge of innovation, delivering robust mechanical solutions that integrate seamlessly into larger, system-level platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver complex mechanical subsystems within integrated platforms Full product lifecycle development concept generation, detailed design and design for manufacture Conduct hands-on prototyping and testing 3D CAD design Work in a highly skilled multidisciplinary engineering team Key Requirements: Background in developing electro-mechanical systems, mechanisms, motors, gearboxes or actuators Strong 3D CAD skills Proven experience in developing products through the full product life cycle Knowledge of a range of manufacturing techniques Hands on and practical skills prototyping and testing Strong analytical mindset If you re looking to join a business that values creativity, quality and innovation, then apply with a copy of your CV. ..... full job details .....
