We invest in our people, fostering diversity and empowering future leaders.Our core values guide us: leading the way, serving with integrity, caring for each other, fostering inclusion, and collaborating for impact.Connect to your opportunityWe are looking for a VAT Senior Manager to lead our VAT team, manage VAT obligations, and advise the UK business.Responsibilities include:Overseeing the submission of UK VAT Returns and advising on VAT matters, including overseas VAT.Managing overseas indirect tax returns and refund claims, liaising with international Deloitte offices.Collaborating with Finance and other departments on VAT policies and compliance.Monitoring VAT processes and controls, updating them as needed.Leading VAT compliance checks.Managing and developing junior team members.Supporting technical and advisory issues for the business and Chief Tax Officer.Improving VAT processes and sharing best practices across the team.Connect to your skills and experienceACA and/or CTA qualified or equivalent experience with large partnerships or corporate entities.Extensive VAT experience, either in practice or in-house.Strong planning, prioritization, and workload management skills.Ability to work independently and in teams.Up-to-date technical tax knowledge.Excellent analytical, numeracy, and communication skills.Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.Flexible, adaptable, and innovative in improving processes.Connect to your business - Enabling FunctionsOur teams support Deloitte''s wider business functions, enabling impactful work through collaboration and expertise.Finance and LegalWe provide financial management, accounting support, and legal advice, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting Deloitte''s leadership.Personal independenceRegulations require adherence to personal independence constraints, especially regarding financial interests and employment relationships with audit clients.
