Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation with sites across the UK to recruit a Senior Management Accountant. Based at the company's London head office, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a collaborative finance team and play a key role in supporting business performance and strategic decision-making.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of key management accounting activities while partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and continuous process improvements. You'll also support an exciting finance transformation project as the business continues to enhance its systems and processes.
Your key responsibilities as the Senior Management Accountant:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, journals, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and support commercial decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Support month-end and year-end processes, including audit and statutory reporting requirements.
- Contribute to finance improvement projects, helping to streamline processes and strengthen financial controls.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with post-qualified management accounting experience.
- Strong management accounting and financial analysis skills.
- Confident communicating financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
