Senior Machining Technician

Summary:Start date: ASAPDuration: 6 months with potential for longerLocation: Leighton BuzzardPay Rate: 28.80 per hourHours: 39 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 15:00-00:00 and Friday 12:00-17:00As a Machining Technician, you will be responsible for:Pre-Manufacturing Activities:Performing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to guarantee machine reliability.Reviewing and prioritising work orders to align with production plans.Validating technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.Conducting detailed machine setups following standard procedures.Proving out new and existing CNC programmes, ensuring first-off/first article validation.Completing self-inspection and verification prior to quality submission.Manufacturing Execution:Operating CNC machinery (3- and 5-axis) to produce precision aerospace components.Monitoring production runs to uphold quality and process standards.Diagnosing and resolving real-time machining issues, whether tooling, programming, or process related.Making necessary programme or tooling adjustments to achieve conformity.Ensuring all components meet dimensional and surface finish requirements, including ..... full job details .....
