This is a great opportunity for a lawyer with previous Private Markets experience to join one of Europe’s leading Private Markets platforms.About the role:

As a senior legal adviser within the Aviva Investors legal team, you will provide first-class legal services to the Private Markets business, covering all Private Markets funds (real estate, infrastructure, debt), corporate real estate transactions, and joint ventures. You will support strategic business functions, assisting with fund creation and structuring, outsourcing projects, and joint ventures.Skills and experience required:

Qualified solicitor, barrister, or equivalent with at least 5 years post-qualification experience, or relevant skills and experience outside this range.Strong knowledge of alternative investments and unregulated funds in the Private Markets sector, including real estate, infrastructure, and debt, with experience in UK, Luxembourg, and ideally Jersey fund structures.Understanding of acquisition structures, fund flows, tax efficiency, and regulatory environment, including AIFMD.Developing expertise in ESG regulatory developments such as the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.Benefits:
