As part of the commercial legal function, the successful Senior Legal Counsel will tackle a wide range of construction-related matters both contentious and non-contentious.Advise on and interpret construction templates from panel firms, insurance levels, indemnity requirements, and performance standards to help keep the organisation running smoothly.Take ownership of how construction advice is delivered across the organisation.Collaborate with stakeholders at every level—from subcontractors on building sites to regional managing directors.Roll out impactful training programmes that enhance understanding of existing document suites.Shape how construction law is embedded into the company’s operations, while working within budget constraints.What you''ll bring

Expertise in construction law: previous experience handling both contentious and non-contentious matters is essential.A strong mix of legal knowledge and commercial acumen: navigate complex queries while addressing day-to-day issues with confidence.Exceptional interpersonal skills: integrate into a large legal function (including compliance professionals) and build strong relationships across departments.Confidence in delivering training initiatives and advising on document suites.About the Company
