Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel
to join their thriving in-house legal team. This role supports the high-performing
Places and Communities Division , a key driver of innovation and revenue across the business.You’ll be part of a collaborative legal function that’s deeply embedded in commercial strategy, working alongside senior stakeholders to deliver practical, business-focused legal advice.What You’ll Be DoingDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction and refurbishment contracts (JCT, NEC, etc.)Advising on tenders, project variations, and operational mattersCollaborating with internal teams and external counsel to support strategic initiativesBalancing legal risk with commercial opportunity in a fast-paced environmentWhat We’re Looking ForUK-qualified solicitor or barrister (or common law equivalent)4–10 years PQE (flexible based on experience)Strong knowledge of UK construction law and industry-standard contractsPublic procurement experience is a plusA proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong stakeholder engagement skillsCulture and ValuesThis company is committed to:Sustainability
