A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join its busy Residential Property team based in Chepstow. The Role

You will provide direct support to a Senior Property Lawyer, ensuring the smooth running of a busy conveyancing caseload and delivering a first-class service to clients.

Key duties include:

- Preparing quotes, liaising with potential clients, and handling queries from first contact to instruction.
- Communicating with clients, taking instructions, and managing correspondence via phone, letter, and email.
- Supporting fee earners with all aspects of case progression, including searches, Land Registry applications, and lender communications.
- Maintaining and updating case management and lender systems to ensure compliance.
- Managing incoming and outgoing post/emails and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Preparing, closing, and archiving files.

About You

- 3+ years'' experience in residential conveyancing / property law.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Competent in IT systems, including case management software.
- A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach.
