Senior Health and Safety Advisor

Senior Health and Safety Advisor: Major Infrastructure We are looking for an experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor to support the Head of Health and Safety across a portfolio of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects. The role will be predominantly office-based in Swindon, with travel to project sites as required. The Role • Support the Head of Health and Safety across major infrastructure projects • Provide practical health and safety advice and guidance to project and operational teams • Undertake site inspections, audits and assurance activities • Support the implementation of HandS policies, procedures and management systems • Assist with incident investigations and ensure appropriate actions are implemented • Monitor HandS performance and support continuous improvement • Produce reports and maintain accurate HandS documentation • Work collaboratively with project teams, senior management and other stakeholders Experience Required • Previous experience as a Health and Safety Advisor or Senior Health and Safety Advisor within civil engineering or major infrastructure • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and construction industry requirements • Experience carrying out site inspections, audits and incident investigations • Confident working with project and operational teams at all levels • Strong communication and reporting skills • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites ..... full job details .....
