Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Global Mobility Manager to lead our global mobility function and manage a small team responsible for ensuring all employees, freelancers and esports players have the correct visas and work authorisations to operate internationally at our events. This role will also oversee our travel department, who are responsible for booking the flights to all of our events around the world. We are looking for a subject matter expert who combines in-depth immigration knowledge with strong team leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

We work with some of the world\''s best game publishers and brands to deliver world class gaming tournaments - currently delivering tournaments at the highest professional level in a variety of games, including eg.: Counter-Strike, DOTA 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League and Fortnite.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and improve on our comprehensive global mobility strategy to ensure it aligns with the needs of large-scale and rapidly growing esports tournaments
Lead initiatives to continuously improve the global mobility program, ensuring it meets the unique challenges of international esports events
Manage a small team based in our Copenhagen and London offices and allocate team resources effectively to meet the demands of the business
Visa and Immigration Compliance
Oversee the end-to-end process for securing visas, work permits, and other right-to-work documentation for staff, contractors, and talent working at our events
Partner with People and Culture, Legal, and Ecosystem teams to plan and deliver seamless mobility support for global events and minimise risk for the business
Communicate clearly and effectively about visa requirements, timelines, and responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global immigration laws, regulations, and practices
Act as the escalation point for complex or urgent visa/immigration issues
Develop and maintain relationships with external immigration providers, our local event partners, and relevant government bodies
Advise senior leadership on mobility risks, opportunities, and strategic initiatives
Travel Management
Line manage our internal Travel team, who are responsible for the end-to-end flight booking process for players and staff, ensuring smooth transitions between countries.
Oversee and take ownership of all aspects of our flight booking platform - reviewing current process, identifying efficiencies and implementing change where required
Budgeting and Cost Management
Forecast and fully manage bespoke budgets related to global mobility and travel activities for each of our tournaments
Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising the quality of mobility services
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in global mobility or travel, preferably in the sports, entertainment, or events industry
Strong knowledge of the international landscape of visas and travel
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex global operations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders
Ability to manage high-pressure situations and solve problems effectively
Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and cost control
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours when required. Occasionally this role may be required travel to our Copenhagen office or internationally for particularly complex events.
