Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant - BristolLocation: BristolSalary: £45,000 - £55,000Employment Type: Full-timeA growing environmental consultancy is establishing a new Bristol office and is looking for an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to play a key role in building the local team and supporting the delivery of a growing project portfolio.This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant who wants to take the next step in their career, with the chance to work across a varied range of contaminated land and geoenvironmental projects while helping to develop the new office.The RoleYou will be involved in the delivery of geoenvironmental projects from initial site investigation through to reporting and remediation. The role will combine technical delivery, client liaison and project management, with opportunities to take increasing responsibility for projects and support more junior members of the team.Responsibilities will include:Planning and managing Phase 1 and Phase 2 contaminated land assessmentsReviewing historical, geological and environmental informationDesigning and supervising ground investigationsProducing factual and interpretative geoenvironmental reportsAssessing soil and groundwater contamination dataPreparing conceptual site models and preliminary risk assessmentsSupporting remediation strategies and validation worksLiaising with clients, contractors, laboratories and regulatorsPreparing fee proposals and supporting project managementMentoring ..... full job details .....
