Our client is seeking a highly experienced

Senior Frontend (HTML5) Game Developer

based in or near Oxford, UK, as you will be required to work in the office

1 day per month ; otherwise, you will be

working remotely . The candidate will be responsible for implementing and tuning high-quality, optimised, maintainable code within a framework, ensuring the best user experience imaginable.It is preferred, although not mandatory, that you have a background in developing games and software for the casino industry.Behavioural Competency:

You will have the ability to work as a part of a team responsible for the development of casino slot games, liaising with the creative department to ensure that what you deliver is optimal, on time and defect-free. You will collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure that games are performant within our platform and operable on all platforms, mobile and desktop.Mandatory Skills5 years

of experience working with

HTML5 and TypeScript

in a

mobile and desktop

environmentExperience with PixiJS, Phaser or other JavaScript gaming/animation frameworksProficient knowledge of

animation techniques using WebGL or Canvas 2D APIs.Solid experience working with

source control platforms

and

tools such as GIT and SVN .Nice to have skillsKnowledge of CSS, PostCSS, and SASS/SCSS.Knowledge of CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap etc) and responsive design techniques.Passion for technologies and a desire to remain up to date with the latest skills;Ideally a maths, statistics or physics background, or 3D development experienceExcellent knowledge of platform-specific and cross-platform capabilities and constraintsExperience with JavaScript build tools (e.g. Gulp, Vite, Rollup)Have the ability to analyse and understand frameworks and functionality to ensure optimal experiences within a mobile-first development approachExperience with logging and analysis tools to quickly diagnose errors (Elasticsearch, Rollbar, Sentry)Great communication skills as a core member of an internationally based ..... full job details .....
