This standalone role leads on year-end, group accounts and VAT and corporate tax processes. With strong systems in place, you’ll have the chance to drive improvements and bring a fresh perspective.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating the year-end process and acting as the primary contact for external auditorsPreparing statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with IFRS-based FReM requirementsManaging key accounting adjustments, including pension valuations and intercompany journalsLeading on quarterly VAT returns and liaising with external tax agents for corporate tax complianceSupporting government reporting and contributing to process reviews and improvementsPreparing financial accounts for a small international subsidiary and overseeing tax requirements in overseas territoriesThis hybrid role offers exceptional flexibility, with office attendance typically once a week and only increased during year-end.
